AMRESCO^® has developed a kit that provides all necessary reagents for denaturing and loading RNA samples onto formaldehyde gels buffered with MOPS. Careful consideration has been taken to ensure that prepared solutions are free of nuclease contamination. Additionally, AMRESCO^®’s Ultra Pure deionized formamide and DEPC water are included to ensure that results are clean and clear. The simple protocol is as follows: Dissolve the RNA sample in 10 µl of DEPC water and mix with 35 µl denaturing solution. Heat the solution to 65°C for five minutes. After quick cooling of the sample and the addition 5 µl of loading dye, the prepared sample is ready for loading and electrophoresis. Kit contains sufficient reagents for 100 reactions.
