The GC-2010 is also our easiest system to use and is especially suited for network operation. We have increased the viewable information and made the most ergonomic keypad operation to simplify your analyses. The "G" window shows temperatures and pressures as well as chromatographic results right on the instrument.

Constant Linear Velocity for Best Separation

Patented Constant Linear Velocity mode maintains the optimum velocity during column temperature profiles. Twenty temperature ramps and six pressure ramps, both in positive and negative pressure, simplify complex separations. The timed split mode optimizes inlet pressure to reduce sample loss and increase injection port sweeping. High-pressure injection mode improves sample loading and OCI/PTV dramatically increases sensitivity.

Superior Reproducibility

The GC-2010 is the ideal solution for all applications where reproducibility requirements are critical. Expect superb reproducibility even for large vapor volume solvents such as acetone or water. Our third-generation Advanced Flow Control (AFC) comes standard with the GC-201 0 and combines many technologies to more precisely control pressure and flow. New compensation technology for ambient temperatures provides prolonged stability and the most repeatable retention times.

The Most Sensitive Detectors Available

The GC-2010 offers superior detectors for a wide range of applications. All detectors are conveniently located under the top cover. A new Flame Photometric Detector (FPD) provides 4 to 5 times more sensitivity than ever before. The new Flame Thermionic Detector (FTD or NPD) detector is 6 to 7 times more sensitive than other systems. The ECD delivers ultra-high sensitivity detection at < 8fg/s.

High-Speed Gas Chromatography

With a high-power oven and standard high-pressure AFC, the GC-2010 sets a new standard for productivity, with up to a six-fold decrease in analysis times. Oven ramp rates to 140° C/minute, pressures to 970 kPa, and cooling from 450° C to 50° C in less than six minutes make the GC-2010 a world-class leader in HSGC.
