VYDAC® 300VHP and 301VHP ion-exchange columns consist of spherical polystyrene-divinylbenzene (PS-DVB) beads, either 5 or 8 µm, with a wide open 900 Å pore size and a chemically attached hydrophilic surface. The modified resin is derivatized to either quaternary amine (Q) (300VHP) or tertiary amine (DEAE) (301VHP) ion-exchange groups.
VYDAC® 300VHP and 301VHP columns are optimized for the separation of proteins, polypeptides and polynucleotides.
