VYDAC® 400VHP protein ion-exchange columns consist of spherical polystyrene-divinylbenzene (PS-DVB) beads, either 5 or 8 µm, with a wide open 900 Å pore size and a chemically attached hydrophilic surface. The modified resin is derivatized to form sulphonic acid strong cation exchange (SCX) groups.
VYDAC® 400VHP columns are optimized for the separation of proteins and other polypeptides.
