Pipetman Concept® is a new motorized electronic pipette a combination of tangible quality with high usability and comfort. Conceived with simplicity and flexibility in mind, Pipetman Concept features exclusive multifunction characteristics housed in a traditional Gilson design. Fourteen models cover the full range of volumes from 0.5 µL to 10 mL. The C10, C100, C300 and C1200 Pipetman Concept models are currently available. At a future date, the remaining ten models will be available from Gilson. The Gilson Pipetman Concept® Utility Software allows users to create custom operating modes on their PC and transfer them directly to the Pipetman Concept pipette.

Exclusive G-F.I.T. System. The exclusive Gilson Forceless Integrated Tip Ejection System provides instant, reliable seals and low ejection forces for multichannel and large volume models. G-F.I.T. System is compatible with most standard tips.

Revolutionary volume setting. Patented multifunction thumbwheel makes Pipetman Concept even more easy to use. Just click and scroll to set the volume, to navigate or to select a menu option.

Intuitive user interface. Sophisticated electronics driving a user-friendly display with selectable menus and straightforward navigation. Pipetman Concept is so easy to use that you will wonder why there is a user's guide!

Minimal number of buttons. Easy mode and speed selection. Aspirate and dispense using the natural feel Start button.

Adjustable tip ejector button position. May be set to suit left- or right-handed users.

Adjustable tip ejector stroke. Patented stroke adjustment wheel may be set for maximum tip compatibility and low ejection force.

Multifunction Concept

Powerful Utility Software puts you in control!

Create your own modes. The Utility Software empowers you to create and store any number of modes on your PC and then transfer one to your pipette. Modes are created in no time from pre-programmed tasks. To make your Pipetman Concept even more convenient, modes can be exchanged on the Internet within a "community" of Pipetman Concept users.

Calibration is easy and adaptable to your needs

Better than ISO 8655 specifications. Pipetman Concept's specifications are more stringent than those required for ISO 8655 compliance.

Powerful and easy calibration. Users can perform readjustment at the 3 points of calibration recommended by ISO 8655. Factory settings are stored in the pipette's firmware and can be restored at any time.

A fourth calibration point enables you to maximize performance at a specific volume.

On-screen indicator
. After each user adjustment, an on screen indicator shows the number of times the pipette has been readjusted.

Simple 'One-step' command buttons, just click!

Thumbwheel. Select and confirm the volume, or any other parameter, in no time using this innovative device.

Speed Buttons. Rapidly change the aspirate or dispense speeds (1 to 5) at any moment with the "+" and "–" buttons.

Mode Buttons. Just click to access one of five standard pipetting modes, which represent more than 95% of current applications:

  • Automatic
  • Automatic + Mixing
  • Manual
  • Repetitive

GLP Concept

Manage your maintenance program

Pipetman Concept's internal software allows you to set the maintenance interval (weeks or cycles) and set an alarm that reminds you with screen messages to service your pipette.

PC-based utility software gives you control of your maintenance program. You can read data from, and export data to, your Pipetman Concept, and store and organize maintenance reports, which include pipette serial numbers for traceability. All environmental conditions, balance ID and other useful information can be recorded each time you calibrate your pipette.

Data compilation, simply essential for Q.A.
Maintenance, calibration and system settings can be displayed on screen or on a PC when using the connection kit.

Advanced maintenance & reporting data management functions are available with Pipetman Concept Utility Software. Creating a maintenance report using the maintenance template, or customizing it, is helpful for record keeping.
