Agarose II is a low-melting agarose that melts at temperatures between 62-68°C and will remain for several hours as a liquid at 37°C. These properties allow users to readily purify macromolecules from agarose slices or to conduct in-gel enzymatic manipulations. This superior
quality agarose is ideal for digestions and ligations in the presence of remelted gel.
In-gel digestion and separation of small fragments in 1.5% Agarose II, prepared with 1X TBE buffer.
Lane 1: pUC 18 DNA, 800ng, loaded in a previous gel in 1X TAE buffer, electrophoresed, excised and digested with Hae III in the presence of melted agarose.
Lanes 3 and 4: pUC 18 DNA 800ng, digested with Hae III
Lanes 5 and 6: PCR DNA Marker
