Agarose III is optimized for intermediate and pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) applications. The exceptionally low EEO and high gel strength of Agarose III facilitates faster electrophoresis running times in low concentration gels. This agarose is best suited for resolving large
(>20kb) DNA fragments.
Resolution of larger DNA bands in 0.8% Agarose III, prepared with 1X TAE buffer.
Lanes 1 and 2: l DNA, digested with Hind III.
Lanes 4 and 5: l DNA, digested with BstE II.
