Sturdy cardboard box has a glassine coating on both the inside and outside for increased moisture resistance and durability. Standard size fits most freezer racks. Deep, high profile (1 5/8" overlap) lids accommodate tall tubes (70 mm). Each cell is 16 x 16 x 31 mm (49-place box) or 13 x 13 x 31mm (81-place box). Box with lid measures (L x W x H): 13.3 x 13.3 x 5.1cm.

The 81-place box holds 1.5 ml and 2.0 ml tubes, most cryogenic vials, and dram glass vials. The 49-place box holds one-dram glass vials and most 5mL and 7mL scintillation vials.
