Serum adsorbed antibodies

To minimize non-specific reactivity to human serum components, anti-mouse antibodies and some anti-rabbit antibodies are passed over an affinity column containing immobilized human serum proteins and are referred to as human serum adsorbed (HSA). Select anti-mouse antibodies are further adsorbed against rat or rabbit serum proteins and are referred to as RtSA or RbSA respectively. Anti-rabbit and anti-rat IgG (H+L) antibodies undergo similar adsorption to reduce reactivity to unwanted human or mouse immunoglobulins, respectively.
