TMB Membrane Peroxidase Substrates are the most sensitive chromogenic peroxidase substrate for use in membrane assays. TMB (3,3’,5,5’-tetramethylbenzidine) is non-carcinogenic and produces a stable, dark blue precipitate at the reaction site in the presence of peroxidase-labeled conjugates. It is optimized for use in membrane assays and dot blots. This ultrasensitive system significantly increases the detection limits of assays on a variety of membranes. TMB offters low nonspecific binding to the membrane and a long active shelf life compared to other membrane substrates. KPL offers TMB for membranes as a 1-component or 3-component system.
