The ProteoSOL Tissue Extraction System enables the analysis of proteins in FFPE samples in a membrane-based immunoassay format. The kit includes reagents for the extraction of ten tissue samples, sample preparation tube, and a simple protocol with methods for tissue procurement using either needle dissection or laser capture microdissection. Tissue is extracted and ready-to-use in just 3 hours. Protein samples can be printed or spotted on nitrocellulose membranes and specific proteins can then be detected with standard colorimetric immunodetection protocols. Tissue extracts are sufficient for the preparation of multiple arrays and analysis of multiple proteins from the same tissue sample.
