These simple, sensitive systems are optimized for use with KPL’s gold conjugates for the amplification of gold particles. Silver builds up on the surface of the gold particles as a result of the reduction of silver. Silver Enhancer Kit offers low background, sensitivity to the picrogram level and slow, controlled development: 5-8 minutes for microscopy applications and 15-25 minutes for membrane applications.
