Our technician(s) can visit your lab to service and calibrate all major brands of pipettes. Mandel will provide monitoring and measurement equipment (5-place balance, digital thermometer, hygrometer and barometer) that is calibrated and certified using standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

The GOLD PLUS is an all inclusive option for all major brands not receiving routine preventative care. It includes cleaning, any parts damaged or corroded will be replaced free of charge and calibration adjustments to within manufacturer’s specification. |

The PLATINUM option is for pipettes being maintained on a regular basis, requiring traceability to NIST standards. It includes cleaning and calibration adjustments to within manufacturer’s specification, with a certificate of 5 samples at the low and high volumes. Parts extra. |

The PLATINUM MC/E option includes cleaning and preventative maintenance of all channels and/or electronic components, calibration adjustments to within manufacturer’s specification and a certificate of 4 samples at the low and high volumes on each outside channel. All channels will be verified at the low and high volumes. Parts extra. |

Requirements and Responsibilities
Pipette Clinics are designed to allow you, the user, to have your pipettes (all major brands) serviced and calibrated without having them leave your institution.
By agreeing to host the Clinic it is your responsibility to:

Ensure that all pipettes to be serviced are free from radioactive chemical and biological hazards. The Mandel representative reserves the right to refuse work on a pipette that has not been sufficiently decontaminated.
- Provide at least 2 metres of workspace, free of vibration and drafts, that has access to a 110V electrical outlet. The ideal workspace should be at a temperature of 20°C ± 5°C and have a relative humidity between 45% and 75%.
- To confirm a clinic, a purchase order must be supplied to Mandel at least 4 weeks before the scheduled clinic date.
